At Phoenix Academy of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, education is at the heart of everything we do. Backed by our sister company, Phoenix Medical Ltd, we are proud to offer accredited diploma programmes, CPD masterclasses, and specialist training for healthcare professionals. In partnership with the prestigious Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM), our flagship three-year Herbal Medicine Diploma blends classical theory with modern clinical practice—empowering over 1,000 students to date.

From Roots to Recognition

Founded in 2011, Phoenix Medical began as a UK-based distributor of high-quality, compliant TCM products. Since then, it has grown into a leading force in Traditional Chinese Medicine across Europe, advancing clinical research, regulatory standards, and international collaboration.

Milestones in Education and Innovation

• 2012–2013: Approved under the RCHM’s Supplier Scheme; launched formal education programmes and academic exchanges with SHUTCM.
• 2015: Introduced a two-year Herbal Diploma accredited by ATCMAB; co-founded the European Association of Jing Fang TCM.
• 2018: Partnered with Animals Asia to support ethical causes; hosted the International Jing Fang Conference with experts from 23 countries; donated supplies to charities and student clinics.
• 2019: Led a UK–China clinical trial on COPD with the University of Southampton and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
• 2021: Celebrated the graduation of our first virtual diploma cohort; expanded online CPD offerings.
• 2022: Strengthened research partnerships and enhanced teaching resources for UK institutions.
• 2023: Helped establish the UK Centre of Chinese Medicine; hosted the UK–China Health Conference; expanded advanced diploma programmes aligned with EHTPA standards.
