You Jun Wang is a senior consultant of Chinese medicine. He graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1992, then completed 14 years of service at the Teaching Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine which involved him in both clinical and teaching tasks. He moved to the UK in 2006.
He is currently Course Leader of the Neijing: Su Wen Internal Classic Diploma and Supporting Tutor of the Virtual Chinese Herbal Medicine Diploma run by Phoenix Academy.
In the past years, besides clinical practice, he devoted himself to the effort of restoring the classical theories of Chinese medicine and exploring the rules of traditional formulas and the applications of herbs. He served as the executive vice-president of the FTCMP (UK) and chief editor of the Journal of Chinese Medicine in UK (JCMUK) from 2013 to 2015, and now is the chair of the Academic Board of FTCMP (UK) and English editor of JCMUK.
His reports and essays are always some of the welcomed parts of the annual academic conferences and the JCMUK. In recent years he is introducing original Chinese medicine theories and classical acupuncture to learners by giving lectures at Chinese Medicine schools in Europe.
