Phoenix Academy is extremely proud to welcome Dr Wei Chieh Young and Dr Michael Chung to host the ‘One Needle Therapy’ Course in Summer 2021.
Please note: we have postponed this course to 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Dates TBC.
This is the first time One Needle Therapy has been taught in the UK. Due the Dr Young’s busy schedule and age, this could be students only opportunity to learn from Dr Young in the UK/in English. This is an extremely sought after course and it will sell out!
In this four day seminar Master Young Wei-Chieh will be teaching the highest level of acupuncture practice—One Needle Therapy. This seminar is the distillation of Master Young’s many decades of practice and vast clinical experience, in combination with ceaseless study of both classic and modern Chinese Medicine texts and personal studies with Chinese Medicine and acupuncture masters of the previous generation.
Each day of the seminar will be devoted to presenting clearly the best treatments for a wide variety of medical conditions. Highly effective one-needle points used to treat commonly seen diseases in the spheres of internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, pain, and five-sense organs will be taught in detail. Points used are drawn from both the classic 14-channel and Master Tung acupuncture systems.
In addition to presenting the most effective one-needle points for the conditions to be covered in the seminar, Master Young will discuss the combination of two or three one-needle points and how this can greatly enhance treatment effectiveness. He will teach how to select the points, the techniques to use with the points, point combinations, as well as the theories that explain why the points are so effective in the clinic. Master Young has indicated that in this seminar he will also be presenting the rarely taught Master Young Dual Needle Zone Therapy Technique and it’s unique ability to rapidly resolve medical issues.
This seminar is a rare opportunity to study with a true master, and is guaranteed to revolutionize your acupuncture practice.
In acupuncture, more is not necessarily better. The number of needles that a practitioner uses does not necessarily correlate with his or her results. Practitioners who have studied extensively and have a deep understanding of acupuncture know that if they have properly identified the pathologies and are familiar with the theory of acupuncture, they can often resolve pain with the use of only one needle.
We have been hosting Master Tung Acupuncture courses since 2018 to teach acupuncturists the famous Tung’s points and methods. To develop practitioners knowledge further, we are extremely honoured to host the One Needle Therapy course in 2020 taught by Dr Wei Chieh Young.
The course will teach acupuncturists the high effective one-needle points, which have been selected from the 14 channels and Tung’s acupuncture. The points will be effective in treating dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics and five-sense organs – all using one individual needle point. However, Dr Young will also teach practitioners how to combine more than one point to enhance the efficacy.
Students will learn what techniques are used, and more importantly – why they are used. This is an extremely advanced courses and is only suitable for advanced practitioners.
The course will be taught in Chinese & English. We are fortunate enough to have Dr Michael Chung translating the entire course. Dr Chung’s translation promises to be clear, precise and extremely accurate after over 30 years studying and translating Dr Young’s teachings. Dr Chung is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
